India Today Releases List Of India’s Best Law Schools: Only Three NLUs In Top10

India Today released the list of India’s Best Law Colleges, with NLSIU Bangalore retaining the top spot. The only other two NLUs to make it to the top 10 are WBNUJS Kolkata at the third spot and GNLU Gandhinagar at 10th spot. Aligarh Muslim University’s Faculty of Law, Amity Law School Noida and Christ University’s School of Law were placed at the second, fourth and fifth spot respectively.

Law schools like NALSAR Hyderabad, NLU Delhi, NLU Jodhpur, GLC Mumbai and Delhi University’s Campus Law Centre surprisingly do not make it to the top 10 spots on the list.

The criteria for evaluation was reputation of the college, quality of academic input, student care, infrastructure, placements, perceptual rank and overall rank.

  • Rahul says:

Useless list. These private colleges ask for an exorbitant fee for the degree. Clearly quid pro quo…. They can’t be compared with NLUs.
Their entrance tests could not be easier and just by having a decent infrastructure they claim to be the best in the country. All the cream is goes to NLUs and those who don’t get selected join these private colleges just for the sake of it.

    • Sandeep Gupta says:

All NLUs have quota I.e. SC, ST, OBC,STATE quota etc . More than 50% seats are occupied with low scorers . How can you say that NLU are the best and are free of charge. Institute like Christ University is 100%better than many NLUs .
