    The Centre for Sports and Entertainment Law at GNLU has emerged as the academia of excellence in sports and entertainment law industry.

    The Centre takes unparallel lead to offer expert law consultancy to the sports industry and is fully committed to create future generation of Sports Lawyer. The Centre in pursuance of its aims and objectives has organized seminars, training workshops, certificate course and special lecture series wherein the leading figures in the Sports Law sector such as Prof. Ian Blackshaw, Hon’ble Mr. Justice (Retd.) Mukul Mudgal, Mr. Vidushpat Singhania (Sports Law lawyer and Chairman, Working Committee on Regulating Sports Betting in India, FICCI), Ms. Chanpreet Kaur (Co-founder of Metis learning and Management Consultant- Media, Sports and Entertainment), Mr. Anish Dayal (Advocate for Rajasthan Royals and Lawyer in Supreme Court of India), Mr. Nandan Kamath (Sports Lawyer), Mr. Shivam Singh (Advocate, Supreme Court of India and Sports Law expert) and Mr. Amrut Joshi (GameChanger Law Advisors).

    The Centre is increasingly focusing upon legal trends and the pathologies that affect the Entertainment industry. The need has arisen especially amongst the jurists, practitioners and industry-watchers to undertake research, training and extension activities for creating awareness and promotion of academic pursuits in the field of Entertainment law.

    In light of growing sector of Sports and Entertainment Law in India GCSEL offers internship application for the month of November and December, 2017 to students for enhancement of their research and practical skills in the field of Sports and Entertainment Law.

    How to apply?

    Interested Students should send soft copies of:



    1. Latest CV

    2. An original academic written work not exceeding 2000 words (published or unpublished)

    3. A brief statement of purpose in applying for GCSEL (not to exceed 500 words)

    4. A bona fide certificate from the respective college/institute/university.
