The United Nations Children's Fund, invites application for the post of Consultants at various locations in the various states of India.

Job Description

UNICEF is currently in the process of pre-qualifying a roster of National and International consultants in the field of child protection, covering the following technical areas:

  • Restorative Justice, Diversion, Juvenile Justice
  • Alternative Care
  • Psychosocial support and Mental Health
  • Child Protection Workforce Development
  • Preventing and responding to Violence against children
  • Children on the move, and child trafficking
  • IMS, data and evidence in child protection
  • State level child protection consultants
  • Information Management in Child Protection
  • Possible locations are New Delhi, Bhopal, Bhubaneshwar, Chennai, Gandhinagar, Guwahati, Hyderabad/Telangana, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Patna, Raipur and Ranchi.

Essential Qualifications
  • Education: Master's or Diploma in Law, Social Sciences, Psychology, Criminology, Public Health, Public Policy or relevant field.
  • At least four years of proven experience in one of the listed sectors
  • Language: Fluency in English. Knowledge of local Indian language as relevant to the state is an asset for national consultants.
  • Good negotiation and influencing skills supported by excellent communication and presentation skills are desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-disciplinary environment and to establish harmoniously and effective working relationships with governmental, non-governmental and civil society organizations
