  • Results of RGNUL Exagium 2018 Announced

    Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab, has announced the results of RGNUL Exagium 2018, an international essay writing competition. This online event was open to the undergraduates, postgraduates and research scholars of diverse disciplines in October 2017.

    Several essays based on the reading of literary classics were received from India and abroad from reputed universities like Jamia Millia Islamia Delhi, Army Institute of Law Mohali, Govt. Law College Mumbai, NULAS Kochi, NLU Jodhpur, Banasthali University Rajasthan, UPES Dehradun, Apeejay College of Fine Arts Jalandhar, University of Calgary Canada, TOPU Sri Lanka, SOAS London, University of Delhi, Amity Law School, Noida and RGNUL. Students pursuing various degrees like BA.LLB. (Hons.), MA (English), MBBS, B.Tech, BA (Hons.) and BSA (Comp. Sci.) participated in this event.

    Mansi Rawat and Vani Sirkeck, pursuing MA (English), Deptt. of English and Cultural Studies, Panjab University, won the first position for their essay on George Orwell’s Nineteen Eighty-Four.

    Ayushi Singh, BA.LLB. (Hons.), NLU Jodhpur, and Chanima Wijebandara, BA (English + ELT), The Open University of Sri Lanka, were adjudged second.

    The third position was bagged by Mohit Kumar Tanwar, BA LLB (Hons.), Jamia Millia Islamia Delhi and Sharanya Shrivastva, BA.LLB. (Hons.), Army Institute of Law Mohali.

    The winners of the previous editions of Exagium are Abhilash Pattnaik (2017), RGNUL, and Abhishek (2016), Singh College, New Delhi.
