The Gujarat National Law University, Gandhinagar announces the 6th GNLU International Maritime Academy, 2017 from March 03-10, 2017 at the university campus.
Theme: “Maritime Industry, Naval Power and Marine Environment”
Objective:
The 2017 Edition is designed to explore and assess the trajectory of law and policy affecting maritime commerce, maritime security, and marine environmental protection and resource conservation. It aims to equip participants with knowledge on contemporary and advance issues and practices on maritime industry related development; to identify legal and policy issues interfacing the economic and industrial development aspects of marine economy; to acquire sound understanding of role and responsibility of blue water navies and maritime power in the development of the maritime industry and overall maritime security; to understand the impact and integration of marine environmental protection and marine resource conservation.
