  • Associates (Mitigation) Vacancy at Centre for Death Penalty, NLU, Delhi
    National Law University, Delhi invites application from the eligible candidates for the post of Associate (Mitigation) at Centre for Death Penalty. The post is contractual and will be for a period of one year.

    No of Positions: 02

    Salary: Rs. 40,000 – 45,000 per month

    Essential Qualification

    1. Graduate with a degree in psychology, journalism, development studies, economics,sociology, law or any allied discipline.

    2. Atleast 2 years of work experience in the respective field would be preferred.

    3. Any previous field work involving an emphasis on communication skills, investigative capacities and/or mental health will be considered an advantage.

    4. Ability to read/ write/ speak at least one regional Indian languages is mandatory.


    How to Apply:  Interested candidates may send their resumé and a statement of purpose, explaining their interest in working on issues of death penalty and the contribution that they see themselves making to the Centre’s work. The statement of purpose must not exceed 750 words.

The subject of the e-mail should be “Centre on the Death Penalty- Application for Associate (Mitigation)” The cover letter must state (Attn: Director, Centre on the Death Penalty.)
