Govt seeks suggestions to re-visit Drugs and Cosmetic Act, 1940

Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has initiated steps to re-visit the Drugs and Cosmetic Act 1940 and Rules to match up with the current regulatory requirements related to safety, efficacy and quality of drugs, medical devices and cosmetics.

The Government has requested the suggestions from the stake holders on the existing Act, Rules, vis-a-vis changes required based on your experience during its implementation within 15 days to JDC (ER), HQ, CDSCO, FDA Bhawan, New Delhi at E-mail (reddywz@gmail.com).
