    Embassy of India, Washington D.C is organizing a cultural event on December 18, 2015 in which a Thematic Classical Music Recital by Deepa Divya sisters and a slide based talk on “Granville Austin, the American Biographer of Indian Constitution “ by Vikram Raghavan are included.

    Deepa Divya sisters will present the works of Bankim Chandra Chatterjee , Subramaniya Bharathi , Kanchi Chandrasekharendra Saraswati, Sethumadhava Rao and others to amplify themes like justice, liberty, equality, fraternity. They will be accompanied by Pavani Mallajosyula (Violin) & Srikanth Ramachandran (Mridangam).

    A talk on Granville Austin, the historian and diplomat and the American Biographer of India's Constitution, who lived in Washington, DC will be conducted by Vikram Raghavan , the author of a much-consulted treatise: Communications Law in India (LexisNexis 2006). He has also co-edited a volume of essays: Comparative Constitutionalism in South Asia (Oxford University Press 2013).
