Law Officers Vacancy At The Office Of Advocate General, Punjab

The Department of Home Affairs & Justice, Government of Punjab invites applications for the post of Law Officers in the office of Advocate General, Punjab at Chandigarh and Legal Cell, New Delhi, to defend the cases for and on behalf of the State of Punjab.

Name of the Post: Law Officers

Essential Qualification and Experience

• A citizen of India and registered with a Bar Council under the Advocates Act, 1961;

• An advocate from the Scheduled Caste Category belonging to the State of Punjab as per instructions no. 1/52/95-RC/713 dated 17.01.1996;

• An advocate who has been practicing in any Court of Law within the jurisdiction of India; and

• Should have standing as a practicing advocate for the number of years mentioned against the respective category and should be income tax payee with minimum gross annual professional income in the last three years as mentioned against each category (check official notification)
