Press Release: RGNUL 75th Republic Day Celebration

The Diamond Jubilee of the Indian Republic was celebrated on 26th January 2024 at Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law. The event commenced with the hoisting of the National Flag by Prof. (Dr.) Anand Pawar, Vice Chancellor, RGNUL, followed by the singing of the National Anthem. Addressing the teaching as well as non-teaching staff of the university, he paid tributes to the founders of the Constitution, stressing on the importance of its ideals and constitutional morality. Furthermore, he stressed women's empowerment highlighting the contribution of the 15 women members of the Constituent Assembly in the birth of the Indian Constitution. Finally, the event culminated with the distribution of sweets to all employees, along with a call to strive for solidarity, harmony, and fraternity as rightful and dutiful citizens of the nation.
