ILS Law College, Pune's, Equal Opportunity Cum Enabling Cell is organizing a Three-Day International Summit on Legal Professionals with Disabilities (ISLPD). The Summit is being organized in collaboration with Oxford Human Rights Hub, Harvard Law School Project on Disability and Centre for Disability Studies and the University of Leeds, UK.
Dates: 1st to 3rd December 2020
The 3-day Summit will serve as a platform to set in motion a thought process for how the state of affairs can be effectively reversed. Through a series of three-panel discussions, the organizers hope to foster a well-considered dialogue on how we can break down the structural and attitudinal barriers that prevent disabled legal professionals from leading lives of equal productivity and dignity as their able-bodied counterparts.
Themes:
- Day 1: Session dedicated to Academicians
- Day 2: Session dedicated to Lawyers
- Day 3: Session dedicated to Judges
