    The Madhya Pradesh High Court administration on Saturday restrained the judicial officers and other officials from using any social media such as WhatsApp, Skype, Facebook etc. during the court hours for personal and for any official communication.

    High Court Registrar General Fahim Anwar has issued the order to this effect.

    He gave reference of the orders issued by the Chief Justice on September 27, 2017, in this regard.

    The judicial officers and other officials were directed "to abide by these orders strictly".

    This order is in series of earlier order issued by Principal Registrar Satyendra Kumar Singh on August 23, 2017, regarding the usage of MP HC Warns Judicial Officers Against Sharing Vulgar, Obscene Videos On FB, WhatsApp, Etc [Read Memo]... Read more at: social networking sites like WhatsApp, Facebook, etc., taking serious note of some judicial officers indulging in posting of objectionable, unwanted and obscene material on social media groups.

    Then also the officers were warned that "if any judicial officer is found indulging in doing such acts, which are unbecoming of a judicial officer, the same would be viewed seriously and stern disciplinary action would be taken against them".
