Senior Advocate Designation: Kerala High Court Invites Suggestions/Views On The Names Of 9 Lawyers

The Kerala High Court has issued a notification inviting suggestions on Nine Lawyers for the purpose of Senior Designations

List of Advocates for Designation of Senior Advocate:-

1. Advocate Santhosh Mathew
2. Advocate P.B. Krishnan
3. Advocate Elvin Peter P.J.
4. Advocate Sunny ldathew
5. Advocate Benny P. Thomas
6. Advocate N. Reghuraj 
7. Advocate Mayan Kutty K.I
8. Advocate P.R. Venkatesh
9. Advocate Shyam Padman

The suggestions/views of the members of the Bar and other stakeholders on the same have been invited within 30 days from the date of publication of the notice.

The suggestions/views are required to be in writing and the same should bear the name and full address of the sender and need to be addressed to the Registrar General of the High Court.

The Kerala High Court has also notified that anonymous petitions/representations will not be entertained.

Recently, the Punjab and Haryana High Court designated 19 lawyers (including 2 women advocates) as Senior Advocates. The decision was taken at a full-court meeting.
