  • Submissions Invited For LexQuest’s 4th National Essay Writing Competition

    LexQuest has invited submissions for its 4th National Essay Writing Competition, 2018. Submissions are to be based on the broad theme ‘Filling up the voids in the Indian Legal System: Shortcomings and Probable Solutions’.

    The competition is open to students pursuing any undergraduate, postgraduate or professional course in any recognized university/college in India. Co-authorship is not permitted.

    Prizes:



    • First Prize: Cash prize worth Rs. 2000, discount coupon worth Rs. 500 for any one of LexQuest’s courses and a certificate of appreciation.

    • Second Prize: Cash prize worth Rs. 1000, discount coupon worth Rs. 500 for any one of LexQuest’s courses and a certificate of appreciation.

    • Third Prize: Cash prize worth Rs.  500, discount coupon worth Rs. 500 for any one of LexQuest’s courses and a certificate of appreciation.

    • The top five essays will be published on our website.

    • All participants will be eligible to receive a Certificate of Participation and a discount coupon worth Rs. 200 for any one of LexQuest’s courses (non-transferable).


    Word Limit: Submissions should be between 1800 and 2000 words. All essays are to be accompanied by an abstract, not exceeding 250 words, and a bibliography.

    Format of the Submission: Submissions are to be made only in an MS Word document. The body of the manuscript must be in Times New Roman, font size 12 and line spacing 1.5. All footnotes must be in Times New Roman with font size 10. The page number should be in the top-right corner.

    Registration Fee: Rs. 200. The early bird fee for the first 30 registrations is Rs. 150.
