The Supreme Court Of India has issued a circular stating that transfer petitions will now be listed before Division Benches instead of Single Judges after issuance of notice in the respective matters.
However, fresh transfer petitions will continue to be listed before Single Judges.
In this regard, the circular dated August 29 reads as follows,
"Henceforth, after notice Transfer Petitions shall be listed before the Hon'ble Division Benches instead of Hon'ble Single Judge Benches, till further Orders. However, the fresh Transfer will continue to be listed before the Hon'ble Single Judges."
