Vacancy for the post of ‘Judge Family Court’ at Bombay High Court

High Court of Bombay invites application for the post of ‘Judge Family Court’. The eligible candidates may apply through the prescribed form.

Name of Post: Judge Family Court

No of Posts: 8 candidates and wait list of 2 candidates

Age Limit: Not less than 35 years of age.

Eligibility: A candidate must, on last date of submission of online application;

• Have held a Judicial Office in India or the Office of a Memberof a Tribunal or any post under the Union or a State requiring special knowledge of law, at least for seven years ;
• Have practised as an Advocate in the High Court or in any two or more such Courts in succession, at least for seven years;

(i) be a post Graduate in Law with specialization in Personal Law ;

(ii)   Have   a   post   Graduate   degree   in   social   sciences   such   as Master   of   Social   Welfare,                       Sociology,   and Psychology/Philosophy with a degree in Law;

(iii)Have at least seven years experience in the field work/research or of teaching in a Government Department or in a College/University or a comparable academic institute, with special reference to problems of women and children;

(iv)

Have seven years experience in the examination and/or application of Central/State Laws relating to marriage, divorce, maintenance, guardianship, adoption and   other   family disputes.
