#SupremeCourt hears Pawan Khera's plea challenging the Allahabad High Court's refusal to quash criminal proceedings against him over an alleged remark about Prime Minister Narendra Modi

Khera challenged the January 5, 2024 order by a Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) in Lucknow, which rejected his plea for discharge. Against which he approached the Allahabad HC, which upheld the lower court's decision finding prima facie grounds to proceed with trial.
