Supreme Court to hear today plea assailing BCI Chairman #MananKumarMishra's directions to stop the enrollment of #NALSAR students over a protest campaign against invitation to CJI Surya Kant as convocation guest

Though the directions were later withdrawn, the cause of action survives as per the petitioner

Manan Mishra's tenure is also under challenge before the court in a separate case, where it yesterday observed that he is only a "pro tem" Chairman

Previously, the Court passed an interim order restraining punitive action by BCI against NALSAR students and faculty.
