Supreme Court Issues Notice on a plea filed by UP Judicial Officers Association seeking quashing of Rule 10-A of the CCS (Commutation of Pension) Rules, 1981 which prescribes a period of 15 years for restoration of the commuted portion of #pension

The petitioner seeks that the period in question be 10 (or 12) years, instead of 15

It further seeks that the commutation factor applicable to judicial officers across the country be 9.81 (as applicable to state employees) and not 8.194.
