Lawyers stage a protest outside Bombay High Court in solidarity with lawyers manhandled and assaulted during the anti-CEC protests in Mumbai and Delhi.

Some Advocates were also seen carrying posters seeking resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. 

Advocates had initially planned a rally from Flora Fountation towards a statue of Dr BR Ambedkar, nearby the Mantralaya building.

However, the police denied them permission and thus, they staged protest outside Gate No. 4 of Bombay High Court
