Junaid Malik, the food volunteer at the CJP... ... Pleas Against Police Action During CJP Student Protests : Live Updates From Supreme Court
Junaid Malik, the food volunteer at the CJP student protests in Delhi, moves the #SupremeCourt alleging harassment and detention by police.
Junaid says that he was picked up from Delhi by police officials, and was kept in a vehicle for 5-6 hours, during which he was threatened and intimidated, and was ultimately dropped off at a far off location in Dehradun road.
Junaid also says that Ghaziabad police detained his father, and raided his home. The police also allegedly visited his married sister's home at Meerut and picked up her father-in-law and brother-in-law. He alleges that the coercive steps were not taken with any paper-work and following legal procedure.
Junaid urges Supreme Court to stop coercive steps by police against his family members.
