The Delhi High Court will hear Tuesday a plea of two youth who havr challenged their 30 days' jail term by the Delhi Assembly Speaker for throwing pamphlets and raising slogans in the House.

A bench of Justices Siddharth Mridul and Najmi Waziri posted the plea for Tuesday while granting the counsel for the petitioners time to see if they wanted to challenge the rules under which the Speaker ordered their punishment side their plea did not challenge the same.

In June, the two men -- Jagdeep Rana and Ranjan Kumar - threw pamphlets and raised slogans demanding resignation of Health Minister Satyendar Jain.

On a motion moved by AAP MLA Saurabh Bharadwaj the Speaker sentenced them to one-month rigorous imprisonment.

They have challenged the punishment as  a illegal.
