BMU Organises 3rd Constitutional Cultures Lecture: Panel To Discuss 'Political Legitimacy and The Place Of Courts'

The 3rd Constitutional Cultures Lecture, organised by the School of Law at BML Munjal University (BMU), is scheduled to take place on November 22, 2025, at the CD Deshmukh Auditorium, India International Centre, New Delhi. The event will feature a distinguished panel discussion on the theme “Political Legitimacy and the Place of Courts,” highlighting the critical intersection of the judiciary and democratic institutions in India.

BML Munjal University (BMU), established as a not-for-profit, co-educational institution under the Haryana Private Universities Act, is based in the Delhi NCR and was founded by the promoters of the Hero Group of Industries. The institution is multidisciplinary, comprising four schools: the School of Law, School of Management, School of Engineering and Technology, and School of Liberal Studies.

The Constitutional Cultures Lectures, an annual flagship initiative launched by the School of Law, aim to foster critical discourse around contemporary constitutional issues. Previous lectures in the series have featured renowned speakers such as Prof. Philipp Dann, Justice Ravindra Bhat, Prof. Susan Marks, Prof. Upendra Baxi, Prof. Sudhir Krishnaswamy, and Prof. Arun Thiruvengadam, among others.
