The 4th Ashok Desai Memorial Lecture brings together reflections on the Indian judiciary and the making of modern India through the voices of those shaping and studying it.

Justice Suryakant, Chief Justice of India, will speak on “Reimagining Justice: The Indian Judiciary 50 Years Hence”. Author and historian Manu S. Pillai will be speaking on “Resisting Injustice: The Raj, the Law, and the Making of Modern India.”
