International ADR Conference 2026: CJI Surya Kant, Justices B.V. Nagarathna And P.S. Narasimha Among Key Speakers

The inaugural session will begin with opening remarks by Neelam Rathore, Chairperson, International ADR Conference, Maadhyam International Council for Conflict Resolution, followed by a welcome address by Amarjit Singh Chandhiok, Senior Advocate and President, Maadhyam International Council for Conflict Resolution. The programme will also feature special addresses by Judge Daniel Weinstein (Retd.), Founder, JAMS and Weinstein International Foundation, and Solicitor General Tushar Mehta.

Chief Justice of India Justice Surya Kant will deliver the Chief Guest address at the inaugural session, while Chief Justice of the Delhi High Court Justice Devendra Kumar Upadhyaya will address the gathering as the Guest of Honour.

The second day will commence with a keynote address by Supreme Court Judge Justice B.V. Nagarathna, followed by a special address by Judge Daniel Weinstein (Retd.). Prof. Dr. Sukhsimranjit Singh will deliver a session on "Institutionalising Mediation in India: Cross Cultural Insights."

The second day's technical sessions will cover topics including diplomacy and mediation, cross-border mediation, enforcement of cross-border mediation settlements under the Singapore Convention, resolution of intellectual property disputes through mediation or arbitration, and the future of mediation in India.

On the final day of the conference, Supreme Court Judge Justice P.S. Narasimha will deliver a session on "Preserving Arbitral Finality: Need for Judicial Restraint." The day's programme will also feature a keynote address by Neelam Rathore, followed by a session on "Distinction in International Arbitration: Commercial and Treaty" by Justice A.K. Sikri (Retd.).

The concluding day's programme also includes a fireside chat titled "Future of ADR, AI and Legal Technology in Digital Era" by Delhi High Court Judge Justice Prathiba M. Singh. Other sessions include "ADR: The Overlooked Game Changer in Global Justice," featuring Judge Daniel Weinstein, Gourab Banerjee, and other speakers, and "Navigating the ADR Quagmire: Harmonizing Arbitration & Mediation," featuring Delhi High Court Judge Justice Anup Jairam Bhambhani and Ratan Singh. The conference will conclude with closing remarks by Amarjit Singh Chandhiok, Senior Advocate.
