Essential Qualification and Experience

· Candidate should have LL.B. (undergraduate law degree) from a recognized university in India with 3+ years of legal experience.

· Experience of a mix of corporate law firm and in-housework.

· Experience in contracting and legal compliance review.

· Experience within a law firm, government agency, or in-house legal department, with responsibility for reviewing, drafting, and negotiating the legal terms of a broad range of commercial contracts.

· Associate Membership (ACS) with the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI), along with a current valid membership.

· Experience in interpreting and applying relevant Indian laws and regulations in a business context.

· Preferred: (a) Experience working within a high-growth, technology company, (b) Knowledge of IT infrastructure, outsourcing, telecommunications, cloud computing services or equivalent, and (c) Understanding of intellectual property, competition and privacy issues.
