National Health Systems Resource Centre invites online application for the post of Consultant (Legal).
Name of the Post: Consultant (Legal)
Age Limit: Up to 45 Years (as on the date of receiving the application
Remuneration Range: Between Rs. 60,000/- to Rs. 1,20,000/- (*Fee offered within the band will be commensurate with qualification and experience.)
Work Location: New Delhi; Opportunity to gain hands on experience of public health canvas of states and districts. Travel to states and districts will be involved.
Essential Qualification and Experience
- Master's degree in law (LL.M.) (Regular Courses)
- Post-qualification relevant work experience of at least 2 years, including 1 year of experience
- in the formulation of Public Health Policy.
- A working knowledge of important health-related laws.
- Excellent legal research, analysis, drafting and presentation skills.
- Ability to work individually with minimum supervision and on different assignments simultaneously to meet tight timelines.
- An understanding of the public health structure and systems in India.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
- Computer proficiency with a high level of familiarity with commonly used packages like MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Published work in the area of law, health or equity.
- Desirable: (a) Work experience in areas of health law and policy, including on issues of hospitals, healthcare, mental health, gender, sexuality, disability, HIV, TB, tobacco control etc., (b) Research experience on relevant areas of law and health.
