The High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh invites online application for the post of District Judges (Entry Level) by direct recruitment.
Name of the Post: District Judges (Entry Level)
No. of Post: 16 (Sixteen)
Remuneration: Rs.40,000/- per month
Essential Qualification and Experience
- Must possess a Degree in Law from a recognized University established by Law in India and recognized as such by the Bar Council of India.
- Must be practicing advocate in the Courts of Civil and Criminal Jurisdiction having been in actual continuous practice for a period of not less than seven years or must be an in-service candidate having a combined continuous experience of seven years or more as an Advocate and Judicial as on the last date of receipt of applications.
- Must be a domicile as defined under Jammu and Kashmir Grant of Domicile Certificate (Procedure), Rules, 2020, or a resident of Union Territory of Ladakh as defined in Clause ( 4) of the Union Territory of Ladakh Resident Certificate Order, 2021, as the case may be and a citizen of India as on the last date of filing of application.
