Electricity Ombudsman Vacancy At Gujarat Electricity Regulatory Commission (GERC)

Name of the Post: Electricity Ombudsman

No. of Post: 02 (Two)

Remuneration: Rs.90,000/- per month plus transportation facility.

Essential Qualification and Experience

· A retired District Judge; or

· A retired Secretary to State Government; or

· Any person who has held the position of Member or Chairperson of any statutory quasi-judicial body at the State level for at least 3 years; or

· A retired Chief Engineer or an equivalent officer having experience in the electricity industry preferably distribution business; or

· Any officer who has worked in the power sector for at least thirty (30) years in Technical/ Commercial field with at least three (3) years of experience of working in the State or Central Electricity Regulatory Commissions.

· The Electricity Ombudsman shall preferably have working knowledge of Gujarati language.
