Essential Qualification and Experience
· Minimum Experience of 8+ Years in human resources in a Law Firm Mandatory.
· Career experience exclusively in law firms is mandatory.
· Strong expertise in legal recruitment and lateral hiring.
· Proven experience in employee engagement and retention strategies.
· Hands on experience in drafting and implementing HR policies.
· Ability to work with and motivate high pressure legal teams.
· Strong communication confidentiality and stakeholder management skills.
· In depth understanding of law firm structures billing culture and internal hierarchy.
Roles & Responsibilities
· Lead end to end recruitment for associates' partners support teams and administrative staff.
· Design and execute recruitment strategies aligned with the firm's growth plans.
· Drive employee retention initiatives and actively work towards reducing attrition.
· Develop implement and periodically update HR policies suited to a law firm environment.
· Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and internal governance standards.
· Build motivation and performance driven initiatives for legal and support teams.
· Manage performance appraisal systems feedback cycles and review processes.
· Act as a trusted HR partner to partners and senior leadership.
· Handle employee relations matter with discretion confidentiality and sensitivity.
· Foster a positive professional and ethical workplace culture.
· The HR Manager will play both a strategic and operational role in building a stable motivated and high performing workforce. The role requires a deep understanding of law firm dynamics including recruitment retention performance management and policy frameworks tailored to legal practice.
