Essential Qualification and Experience

• A bachelor's degree in Commerce or Law or a degree in any other faculty with Mathematics or Statistics as a subject obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or a State Act in India; or any other educational institution recognised as such or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956; and (ii) a certificate of Licentiate Examination with General Insurance subject from the Insurance Institute of India;

• Possess the basic knowledge of computer application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967;

• Have about three years' experience in the field of General Insurance in the Government Insurance Fund or Public Insurance scheme or Private General Insurance Companies approved by IRDA. (Except Agent & Brocker); and

• Possess adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.
