Judicial Vacancy (Direct Recruitment) At Delhi Higher Judicial Service; Apply By Jan 21 [Read Notification]

The Delhi High Court has notified 19 vacancies, 16 existing and 3 anticipated, by way of direct recruitment in Delhi Higher Judicial Service. Appointments will be made by holding Delhi Higher Judicial Service Examination in three successive stages:-

  • Preliminary Examination (Objective type with 25% negative marking), to be held on Sunday, the February 2, 2020 (11 AM to 1 PM);
  • Main Examination (Written); and
  • Viva voce

Note: 1 of the 19 vacancies is reserved for PwD (deaf and hard of hearing)

Eligibility

A candidate must be:

  • a citizen of India;
  • a person who has practised as an Advocate for not less than 7 years; and
  • a person who has not attained the age of 45 years as on 01.01.2019. (The cut-off date for determining the period of practice shall be the Last Date of Filling Online Applications, i.e., 14.01.2020).

Applications

Candidates are required to submit their applications in the prescribed format through the official website of High Court of Delhi i.e., www.delhihighcourt.nic.in as per following schedule:

Date and Time of Commencement for creation of New Log In and filling Online Application Form- 28.12.2019 (10:00 AM)

Last Date and Time for filling Online Application Form and/or making payment through Debit Card/Internet Banking- 21.01.2020 (10:00 PM)

The General Category applicants will be charged a non-refundable fees of Rs.1000/- and Reserved category candidates will be charged Rs.200/-. The fees is payable through Debit Card/ Internet Banking.
