The Karnataka Appellate Tribunal is inviting applications from eligible law students for legal internship program. Interns will assist the Hon'ble Chairperson and Members in daily functioning, judicial records, and case research.

Location: M S Building, 1st Gate, 2nd Floor Bengaluru-560001

Duration: 6 to 8 Weeks

Mode: Offline/In-Office

Type: Unpaid (Certificates are provided upon successful evaluation of the completion report).

Essential Qualification and Experience

  • Must be enrolled in a recognized 3-year or 5-year LL.B. degree program.
  • Preference is typically given to students in their 3rd year or higher for 5-year courses, and 2nd year or higher for 3-year courses.
  • Candidates should possess strong legal research and drafting skills.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Assisting judicial and legal officers with case file reviews.
  • Conducting extensive research on relevant statutory provisions and case laws.
  • Observing court/tribunal proceedings and maintaining judicial records.
  • Compiling a comprehensive research report/paper at the end of the internship.
