Essential Qualification and Experience

• Bachelor's or master's degree in law (LL.B. / LL.M) from a recognized institution.
• 2–3 years of PQE in contract management or legal roles.
• Strong knowledge of contract law, corporate law, and litigation processes.
• Experience in legal research and advisory, with exposure to IPR and data privacy.
• Excellent drafting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail in reviewing legal documents.
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to explain legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Proficiency in MS Office and legal research tools.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including vendor, service, partnership, NDA, and distribution agreements.
• Review and respond to legal notices, demand notices, and formal communications in coordination with internal teams and external counsel.
• Ensure accuracy and legal compliance of all contracts and documentation.
• Manage and resolve legal queries and support successful contract negotiations.
• Develop compliant contracts that optimize commercial terms while minimizing legal risks.
• Maintain a contract repository and track renewals.
• Identify potential legal risks and collaborate with cross-functional teams to mitigate them.
• Liaise with external legal counsel/firms to represent the company in legal matters.
