Essential Qualification and Experience
Deputation
• Officers of the Central / State Government / Union Territories fulfilling the following eligibility criteria:-
1. Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre/department; or
2. with five years' service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the Level 10 in the Pay Matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre/department; or
3. with seven years' service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the Level - 7 in the Pay Matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre/department and
Possessing the following educational qualifications and experience:
1. Degree in Law of a recognized University or equivalent;
2. Five years experience as a Public Prosecutor or equivalent experience in the Law/ Legal Department of Central / State / Union Territory Administration.
3. Knowledge of Tamil.

1. CR dossiers containing CRS for the last 5 years. In case of photocopies of CR5, the same shall be attested by a Gazetted Officer, not below the rank of Undersecretary to Govt. of India
2. Vigilance/Disciplinary clearance
3. Integrity Certificate
4. A statement showing major/minor penalties imposed during the last ten years. The statement is also required in the case of "NIL" information.
5. Cadre clearance
