Essential Qualification and Experience

• A law degree from a reputed law school /University.

• At least 15-20 years of active experience in the legal profession

Job description

• The candidate will be required to present himself in, lower courts, tribunals, DRT, Consumer Courts, NCLT, NCLAT DRAT, High Courts, and Supreme Court. Past experience in appearance in the above is essential.

• Drafting of Writ Petition, Legal Notices, SLP, Suits, Claim before IRP, Petitions, Applications, and Appeals before NCLT /NCALT DRT /DRAT /PMLA, etc.

• Drafting of Agreements, MoUs, etc.

• Well-versed with arbitration proceedings.

• Conduct comprehensive legal research.

• Review and Vet Contracts/Agreements and other documents.

• Handling Correspondence with the existing client.

• Dealing with National and international clients.

• Be proactive, reliable, responsible, and accurate with attention to detail.

• Maintain the coordination with other senior and junior lawyers working at the firm, and with other para-legal staff.

• Well-versed with arbitration proceedings.

Key skills For Litigation Lawyers

• Excellent command over English - Oral and Writing to deal with foreign clients.

• Ability to understand the scope of work and execute them with due guidance and consultation.

• Good legal drafting skills-most an important requirement.

• Comprehensive knowledge of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code and procedures of company law matters.

• Knowledge and experience on Corporate Commercial Matters and Arbitration.

• Keep track and be aware of rules, regulations, notifications, and amendments in laws especially pertaining to SARFAESI, PMLA, Company law, and related corporate commercial laws, IPC, CrPC.

• Overall legal know-how and smart researching skills.

• Litigation lawyer who is regular in court and fully vigilant and aware of court proceedings.

• Well-versed with basic computer operations such as MS Excel & Word.
