Hidayatullah National Law University (HNLU), Raipur invites online application for the post of Litigation Fellow, Program Manager, Documentation Officer, and Coordinator (Fellowship) for the HNLU Lawyers Fellowship Programme under its flagship initiative “विधि सारथी – Justice Connect”.

Name of the Post: Litigation Fellow, Program Manager, Documentation Officer, and Coordinator (Fellowship)

Litigation Fellow: 10 (Ten)

Program Manager, Documentation Officer, and Coordinator (Fellowship): 01 (One) each

Stipend:

Litigation Fellow: Rs. 22,000/- 

Program Manager: Rs. 65,000/-

Documentation Officer: Rs. 35,000/-

Coordinator (Fellowship): Rs. 45,000/-

Essential Qualification and Experience

Litigation Fellow

• Graduate of a three (3) year or five (5) year LL.B. programme with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent CGPA.

• Must be enrolled with a State Bar Council and preferably have passed the All-India Bar Examination (AIBE).

• Candidates with less than two years of practice and more than five years after graduation are not eligible to apply.

• Preference will be given to candidates: - Actively engaged in litigation practice at the district level - Demonstrating commitment to access to justice and legal aid.

• Preference: First-generation lawyers and Lawyers with experience of two to five years.

Program Manager

• Bachelor's degree in law (B.A.LL.B. or equivalent) and Working proficiency in Hindi and English.

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in programme/project management, preferably in legal education, access to justice initiatives and legal research projects.

• Desirable Qualification: Master's degree in law/Management/Social work, Strong organisational, leadership, and problem-solving abilities, and Proficiency in legal and office software.

• Desirable Experience: Experience in managing fellowships, training programmes, or continuing legal education initiatives, and Prior engagement with educational institutions, NGOs and public sector.

Documentation Officer

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline.

• Knowledge of Computer Applications and digital documentation systems.

• Proficiency in reading/writing in Hindi and English.

• 1-2 years minimum experience in documentation, reporting, or administrative support.

• Ability to compile and organise information into structured reports and records.

• Experience in handling digital databases, communication records, or programme-related documentation.

• Desirable Qualification: Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications (PGDCA) or equivalent qualification, Proficiency in drafting and report writing skills, Familiarity with documentation, reporting, database management, or office administration practices, and Working knowledge of MS Office, spreadsheets, digital record management, and online communication tools.

Coordinator (Fellowship)

• Bachelor's degree in law (B.A.LL.B. or equivalent).

• Minimum 1–3 years of relevant experience in programme coordination, legal projects, research, or field-based initiatives.

• Desirable Qualification: LL.M. or relevant postgraduate qualification, Familiarity with legal aid, litigation processes, or fellowship programmes, Strong organisational and communication skills, and Working proficiency in Hindi and English.

• Desirable Experience: Experience working with legal institutions, NGOs, and access to justice programmes, and Prior experience in coordinating training or fellowship programmes.
