Essential Qualification and Experience

· The person shall be of ability, integrity and standing who has adequate discerning knowledge of and has shown capacity in dealing with problems relating to engineering, finance, commerce, economics, law or management.

· The person should not have any financial or other interest with any corporate entity dealing with Generation, Transmission, Trading and Distribution of electricity in Assam, which is likely to affect prejudicially his or her function as Member (Law) of the Commission. The person must give a certificate to this effect while applying for this post.
