Essential Qualification and Experience
- As per the Section 8(2) of Competition Act, 2002, a person of ability, integrity and standing and who has special knowledge of, and such professional experience of not less than fifteen years in, international trade, economics, business, commerce, law, finance, accountancy, management, industry, technology, public affairs or competition matters, including competition law and policy, which in the opinion of the Central Government, may be useful to the Commission is eligible for appointment as Member of the Competition Commission of India.

- Interested candidates are required to submit in their application in the prescribed format and shall submit it to Shri Kunwar Balwant Rao, Under Secretary, Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Room No. 13049, 'A' Wing, 3rd Floor, Kartavya Bhawan-01, Dr. Rajendra Prasad Road, New Delhi – 110 001 within 45 days from the date of issue of circular i.e. by (28.09.2026) (5:30 PM).
