Essential Qualification and Experience

The following categories can be eligible for Para Legal Volunteers:

  • Teachers, (including retired teachers);
  • Retired Government Servants and Senior Citizens;
  • M.S.W. Students;
  • Anganwadi Workers;
  • Doctors/Physicians;
  • Law Students (until their enrolment as Advocates);
  • Members of Non-Political, Service-Oriented NGOs and Clubs;
  • Members of Women Neighbourhood Groups, Maitri Sanghams and other Self-Help Groups; and
  • Any other persons having an inclination towards social work.
  • The applicant must be a resident of Kamrup (Metro) District and shall have either permanent residence or a valid correspondence address within Kamrup (Metro) District.

  • Interested candidates are required to submit in their application in the prescribed format and shall submit it to the office of the District Legal Services Authority, Kamrup (Metro) on or before 09.10.2026
