Essential Qualification and Experience
- The percentage/grade points with respect to the academic qualification will be a minimum 60% or equivalent grade from Graduation onwards and 55% or equivalent grade in class10th and 12th. and M.Tech. /M.S./M.Phil. or equivalent qualification in an appropriate discipline; OR
- B.Tech./B.E./M.Sc./M.C.A./LLM/CA/CMA/CS/MBA/Professional qualification or equivalent in an appropriate discipline with a minimum of 02 years of post-qualification experience. OR B.C.A./B.Sc./B.A./B.Com./B.B.A./LL.B. or equivalent qualification in an appropriate discipline with a minimum of 06 years of post-qualification experience.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English, with strong editing and proofreading skills.
- A portfolio of published science writing, such as news stories, features, press releases or blogs, written for non-specialist audiences.
- Ability to read and understand research papers across disciplines and to interview faculty members and researchers.
- Ability to adapt tone and format for print, web and social media; sound research and interviewing skills.
- Working knowledge of content management systems and social media platforms.
- Excellent note-taking skills using both physical and digital records.
- Ability to build and maintain working relationships with researchers, industry partners, and internal and external stakeholders.
- At least one year of work experience at a higher education institution, research organisation, or science communication outlet; OR at least two years of freelance experience, supported by a strong portfolio that includes published bylines.
