Essential Qualification and Experience

Research Associate

  • Postgraduate Degree in Law (LL.M.) from a recognized Indian or foreign university with a good academic record.
  • Demonstrated understanding of doctrinal and empirical research methodologies.
  • Knowledge of substantive and procedural international human rights law.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Skilled in MS Office applications and other research tools.
  • Prior experience of working in a research project in public international law, international human rights law, criminal law, or fundamental rights is desirable.

Field Researchers

  • Graduate degree in Law or Social Sciences from a recognised Indian or foreign university, with a good academic record.
  • Demonstrated understanding of qualitative and empirical research methodologies.
  • Proficiency in English, including strong written and oral communication skills. - Proficiency in MS Office applications, and other research and documentation tools.
  • Knowledge of statistics and/or experience with data collection, analysis and documentation is desirable.
  • Prior experience in field research, stakeholder consultations, or research projects in law, human rights, social sciences or related areas is desirable.
