Essential Qualification and Experience

• 13+ years of Corporate Law experience.
• LL.B. in India or equivalent law degree in other common law jurisdiction.
• Competence in a broad range of corporate, legal compliance and business laws.
• In-house experience at a technology or e-commerce company is a plus.
• Preferred Qualifications: (a) Experience working closely with and advising senior executives of an organization or equivalent, (b) Experience working independently and directly with all levels of legal and business partners or equivalent, (c) Experience of a mix of corporate law firm and in-house work, (d) Experience managing complex and fast-moving issues, (e) Experience in English-language communication skills, both written and verbal, (f) Experience advising multi-national companies and businesses operating at scale, (g) Strong organizational skills and the ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and meet stringent deadlines, (h) Demonstrated ability to analyze and assess business processes/products, spot issues, and structure practical solutions, (i) Excellent legal and business judgment, (j) Ability to function independently while communicating laterally and upwardly with ease, and (k) Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and coordinate complex issues and projects with diverse and multiple internal/external stakeholders.
