Essential Qualification and Experience

  • Degree in LL.B. with Enrolment Certificate as an Advocate with the Bar Council.
  • Experience at BAR of handling criminal matters in Sessions Courts.
  • Experience in conducting trials of cases under the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988, is mandatory pre-condition.
  • A minimum standing of 10 years as an Advocate is required for considering an Advocate for CBI Special Public Prosecutor, who have experience in handling criminal matters.
