Chief Justice of the Himachal Pradesh High Court has ordered the suspension of a judicial officer after allegations of sexual harassment were made against the judicial officer by a woman judge. In addition, the Chief Justice has also ordered a probe into the matter.

Reportedly, the sexual harassment happened while the two judicial officers were in Manali for the advance preparation for a Conference on Drug Abuse that was going to be attended by High Court and Supreme Court judges. Moreover, allegedly On June 8, the said judicial officer pressurized the fellow judicial officer to come to a resort and also misbehaved with her.

The lady judge thereafter made a complaint to the Chief Justice who has now suspended the named judicial officer and has also ordered an enquiry into the matter.
