'Taking The Constitution To The People' – Call For Student Podcasts By The Vidhi Centre For Legal Policy

Update: 2021-11-09 06:00 GMT

The Vidhi Centre for Legal Policy ('Vidhi') is inviting podcast submissions from students that explore the idea of 'Taking the Constitution to the People'.

Even though our Constitution has shaped our country in more ways than one, constitutional vocabulary has largely remained limited to courts of law. Like many other legal instruments, the length and complexity of our Constitution has meant that it is largely inaccessible to the majority. The podcast should explore ways of how the Constitution can be made more accessible and relevant in the lives of everyday Indians. While limiting themselves to the broad theme of 'Taking the Constitution to the People', participants are free to explore the multiple contours of the theme.

Eligibility: All students pursuing undergraduate or postgraduate studies in any field as on the date of the final submission, i.e., December 21, 2021 ( Upto 6 PM)

The top three podcast submissions:

a. will be felicitated;

b. will receive book vouchers;

c. will have an opportunity to work with Vidhi's podcasts teams to suitably circulate the podcast (either in its existing or in an edited form) to a wide audience
