ABOUT THE CONFERENCE
KLE-JUSTECH 2027 offers a global forum for academics, researchers, legal practitioners, policymakers, judges, and industry experts to deliberate on contemporary developments at the intersection of emerging technology, constitutional law, and criminal law.
The Conference examines how artificial intelligence, mass surveillance, facial recognition, predictive policing, digital forensics, deepfakes, algorithmic risk assessment, and automated decision-making are reshaping criminal investigation, evidence, adjudication, and sentencing, while asking how privacy, due process, equality, and freedom of expression can be secured in a rapidly digitizing criminal justice system.
The Conference will be held in hybrid mode on January 22–23, 2027, at KLE Law College, Bengaluru.
Selected papers will be considered for publication in the Conference proceedings to be published by Atlantis Press (part of Springer Nature), subject to a rigorous double-blind peer review and editorial process. Accepted papers will subsequently be submitted by the publisher for consideration for indexing in the Web of Science Conference Proceedings Citation Index (CPCI) and Scopus, subject to the respective databases' independent evaluation criteria.
