Maharashtra National Law University Nagpur Organises Two-Day International Seminar On Women & Child Rights
A two-day International Seminar on “Women and Child Rights: Legal Perspectives and Challenges” is scheduled to be held on July 17 and 18, 2026, through virtual mode.
The seminar is being organised by the Law Mantra Trust in collaboration with Maharashtra National Law University Nagpur.
The event aims to examine the legal framework relating to women and child rights, analyse challenges in enforcement, and deliberate on emerging issues such as cybercrime, trafficking, and exploitation. It will also focus on strengthening institutional mechanisms and policy reforms to ensure effective protection of rights.
The seminar will bring together academicians, legal professionals, policymakers, activists, and students to engage in discussions on constitutional safeguards, gender justice, child protection, implementation gaps, and international perspectives.
Law Mantra Trust has invited submissions of abstracts from interested participants. Selected papers will be considered for publication in an edited book with an ISBN.
As per the schedule, the last date for submission of abstracts is June 22, 2026, while confirmation of selection will be communicated by June 24, 2026.
The seminar is open to students, research scholars, academicians, corporate delegates, and legal professionals.
