The Supreme Court collegium has recommend two lawyers for appointment as Judges of the Madhya Pradesh High Court.

Advocates Vishal Dhagat and Vishal Mishra have been recommended by the collegium comprising of Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi, Justice SA Bobde and Justice NV Ramana.

The other names proposed by the High Court collegium (Advocates Divesh Jain, Sanjay Sarwate, and Archana Kher) have been sent back to the High Court for reconsideration.

 The collegium said that these two lawyers are suitable for being appointed as Judges of the High Court.

As far as age factor of Shri Vishal Mishra is concerned, the Collegium is fully satisfied with the justification given by the High Court Collegium while recommending his name, the resolution reads.
