In a step towards spreading legal awareness, the Law Commission of India, on the 76th Constitution Day, launched its social media platforms to further the cause of an 'informed citizenry'. 

The 23rd Law Commission, headed by the Chairperson, Justice (Rtd) Dinesh Maheshwari, including members DP Verma and Dr Anju Rathi Rana, celebrated the 76th Constitution Day with the unison reading of the Preamble and inauguration of the Official social media handles of the Law Commission of India. 

The Law Commission, with the help of these social media accounts on LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook envisions to keep the public abreast with its events, public discourse and future publications. 

During the launch of the handles, the Commission took to LinkedIn to express: 

"A civilisational legacy built upon tolerance, protected by sovereignty, guided by equality and held together by fraternity, ensures justice as also human dignity.”
